News Anjan Bista Signs For Church Boys United

Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Church Boys United have announced the signing of Nepal international forward Anjan Bista. The club announced the arrival of Anjan through their Facebook handle.

The A Division newcomers have roped in the prolific Nepal forward on a one-year deal.

Anjan, only yesterday, announced his departure from Manang Marshyangdi Club on his social media handles. The forward, who captained Manang last season, spent four years at the club. He netted five goals and assisted three times in the previous league season with Manang, with 14 goals scored over three A Division League seasons.

He won an A Division League title in 2018-19 with Manang and numerous other tournaments around the country. Anjan started his senior club career with APF Football Club. The Hetauda-born player is an ANFA Academy product and has also spent some time at Marbella United in Spain.

Anjan first rose to prominence in the SAFF U-16 Championship in 2013 and represented Nepal at the U-20 level as well. He was an important member of the side when Nepal won the SAFF U-19 Championship in 2015. He made his senior international debut against the Philippines in 2014.
