Nepal number one Kiran Chemjong's team RoundGlass Punjab FC have registered a second successive win in the Hero I-League. In the second match of the season, Punjab defeated Mohammedan Sporting Club 1-0 to register six points from available six in the league so far.

Luka Majcen scored the only goal of the match early on in the third minute of the match.

Kiran played ninety minutes as the first-choice goalkeeper and kept his first clean sheet of the season. Punjab will face Rajasthan FC on Wednesday in their next match.

Kiran had previously won the league title while playing for then Minerva Punjab in 2017-18. Similarly, in the 2019-20 season, he played for  Punjab in his second spell.

The winners of the I-League will be promoted to the Indian Super League for next season for the first time.
