Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Nepal U-23 player Prezen Tamang, who has been fighting blood cancer has thanked the Nepal national team for the gesture they made in the friendly against Pakistan the other day. Nepal national team held a jersey that read 'Get well soon, Prezen' as well as dedicated the 1-0 win to Prezen.

Prezen wrote on his Instagram handle: "Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers..I’m positive in this very difficult time when you feel like you’re living on another planet as life goes on all around you.. Thank you so much Team Nepal for the kind gesture."

Coming to their social media handles after a 1-0 win against Pakistan, Nepali team members expressed that the win has been dedicated to Prezen who has been fighting blood cancer for a while now.

Prezen is already on chemotherapy in New Delhi, India. All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has also decided to support ailing Prezen Tamang with three lakh rupees.

ANFA’s exco meeting held at the ANFA complex on Tuesday confirmed the support.
