Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Nepali coach Bishnu Gurung has completed AFC 'A' Diploma coaching course in Qatar. The Biratnagar City FC coach completed the course, as revealed by the Nepal Super League outfit through their social media.

Gurung is touted to be one of the best up-and-coming coaches in Nepal. His stint as the Sankata Club manager gave his philosophies the exposure he needed. The brand of football Sankata played under him mesmerized a big part of the Nepali football fanbase.

He was also involved with Khumaltar Youth Club in the promotion from B Division League to the top tier of Nepali football, A Division League, last season. 

Gurung has had success in futsal, too, as he was on the touchline when Sports Castle won the National Futsal League 2078 under his reign. Gurung also served as the assistant coach of the Nepal national team for a brief period.
