Hosts Jhapa XI is taking on United Sikkim FC 2-1 in the third quarterfinal match of 3rd Jhapa Gold Cup at Domalal Rajbanshi Stadium, Birtamod on Wednesday.

USFC had taken lead in the 18th minute through Myal Dok Lepcha but Khamir Gilson Kangdangwa levelled the score in the 24th minute.

USFC gifted a goal to Jhapa FC in the 42nd minute.

Bishwas Shrestha of Jhapa XI was declared the man of the match. He received Rs.25000.

Jhapa XI will face Three Star Club in the first semifinal match on Falgun 25.

Nepal Police Club will take on Nepal Army Club in the last quarterfinal match tomorrow.
