News U-15 Women's SAFF: Nepal With A Dominant Victory Over Bhutan

Nepal have started their SAFF U-15 Women's Championship with a big win over Bhutan. Nepal registered a commanding 7-0 win over Bhutan in their first match of the tournament.

Barsha Oli scored four goals in Nepal's victory. She scored all of her goals in the first half. She scored her goals in the 1st, 17th, 33rd and 34th minutes of the match. Sukriya Miya scored twice for Nepal in the 65th and 72nd minutes. Senu Pariyar rounded off a commanding display with the seventh goal in the 85th minute.

This is Bhutan's second successive loss in the tournament. Earlier, Bangladesh had defeated Bhutan 8-0 in the opening match of the tournament. Bangladesh are at the top of the table on goal difference for the time being. 

Nepal's next match in the tournament will be against Bangladesh on November 5. Nepal will again face Bhutan on November 7 and Bangladesh on November 9. The top-ranked team after the league stage matches will be the title winner. 

Only three teams from South Asia are participating in the tournament played in a double round-robin format. The team at the top of the table at the end will be the winner.
