Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Nepal have been drawn into group B in the first round of the AFC U-20 Women's Asian Cup qualifiers. Nepal have been drawn alongside UAE, Palestine and Northern Mariana Islands in the group.

The draw was held in the AFC headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today afternoon. Palestine will be the centralized hosts of group B.

Four teams have already qualified for the finals in 2024. Hosts Uzbekistan and the top three teams from the previous edition, Japan, North Korea and South Korea, have already made it to the finals. 

The eight group winners from the first round of the qualifiers will move on to the second round. The two group winners and the two group runners-up after the second round will qualify for the finals alongside the four automatically qualified teams.

The first round of the qualifiers will be held in March 2023.
