Kiran Chemjong will captain the Nepal national team in the friendly against Bangladesh. Kiran has been appointed the captain as he comes back to the national team in the friendly against Bangladesh.
Kiran returned to Nepal yesterday for the friendly from India. Kiran recently signed a contract with the I-League outfit Punjab FC for the upcoming season.
Former head coach Abdullah Almutairi had excluded eleven senior players, including Kiran, during the AFC Asian Cup qualifiers in June. Nawayug Shrestha was appointed the captain by the Kuwaiti coach who has not made it to the final squad this time.
But Pradip Humagain's appointment as the interim head coach has paved the excluded players' ways to get back into the team.
Nepal will face Bangladesh in a friendly at the Dasharath Stadium tomorrow. The match will kick off at 5:30 PM.
