Hosts Nawa Youth Club, Sukachar have entered the final of the second Sukachar Challenge Cup Knockout Football Tournament. In the second semi-final, they beat Kusume Shining Club, Morang 3-0 on penalties and came close to the title.

Before that, both teams played a 1-1 draw in an exciting match at Budhiganga Ground in Sukachar. Anish Pulami scored a goal in the 52nd minute for Kusume and gave the team the lead in the game. But in the 68th minute, Abhishek Khadka managed to equalize for Nawa Youth.

Nawa Youth managed to make the result in their favor in the tiebreaker. In the match, Nawa Youth's goalkeeper Pramijaya Gachhadar was named the player of the match. He received a cash prize of Rs. 1,100 and a medal.

The hosts will play against Talatalaia Football Academy, Sunsari, in the final on Ashoj 3 for the title. The competition winners will receive Rs. 50,000 in cash along with the title, while the runners-up will receive Rs. 30,000.
