Friendly match played between Sahara Club, Pokhara and FC Kent Gurkhas Veterans has raised Rs 2,17,000 for Sahara club.

The charity match was played at Pokhara stadium on Saturday.

Gurkhas veterans defeated Sahara vetrans 6-2. Bishal Rai scored a hat trick while Hem Karna Rai, Padam Yong Hang and Mohan Rai scored apiece for the winners.

Chandra Bahadur Gurung coordinated the friendly match.

FC Kent Manager Buddi Sunuwar and coach Lok Chemjong handed over the money of Rs 2,17,00 to Sahara club president Keshab Bahadur Thapa.

Earlier Kaski SP Ashok Singh inaugurated the match.

Sahara club is running football academy with 28 children at Dobilla, Kaski.
