News Nepal U-20 NT Off To Bahrain For U-20 Asian Cup Qualifiers

The Nepali U-20 men's football team has left for the AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers to be held in Bahrain.

The Nepalese team left for Bahrain on Thursday afternoon. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) bid farewell to the Nepalese team on Wednesday.

ANFA president Pankaj Nembang and ANFA officials bid farewell to the team. In the qualifiers, Nepal is in Group 'B' alongside Qatar, Bahrain, Bhutan and Bangladesh. 

The group stage matches will be held from September 10 to 18. Nepal will play Bhutan on September 10 and Qatar on September 12. Nepal will play against Bahrain on September 14 and Bangladesh on September 18.

The team that will finish at the top of the group will qualify for the AFC U-20 Asian Cup to be held in Uzbekistan next year.
