India U20 defeated Sri Lanka U20 4-0 in SAFF U20 championship at Kalinga stadium on Friday afternoon.

P Gogoi (69’ 90+3) scored a brace while H Janga 50’ ,  & Gurkirat 74' scored apiece for the winners.

This is India's first win in the competition. They were beaten by Bangladesh (1-2) in their first match.

India will play against Nepal on July 31.
