ANFA Football Coaches Association president Rajendra Tamang has asked the newly elected All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) leadership to take the initiative to release football coaches who have not been paid by AFC for a long time.
Tamang has asked through Facebook for the salary to be released. Tamang has also requested that this issue be discussed as a priority at the ANFA Working Committee meeting on Thursday.
"Help the coaches get more energy and happiness taking the initiatives to release the salaries", Tamang wrote.
He wrote that his salary might have been withheld by the AFC due to the delay of the previous ANFA working committee in contacting the AFC. According to Tamang, about 65 technical heads, including state and district coaches, have not received salaries for seven months.
