The second UYFC knockout nine-a-side tournament which is being held in Qatar on the occasion of Bakra-Eid (Eid-ul-Adha) saw the completion of the matches of the first day.
Redco FC, UYFC Blue, Nine Star FC, Sindhu FC, Perto FC, UYFC White and NYC registered wins on the opening day. Redco FC defeated ABC FC 1-0, UYFC Blue defeated NAFC on penalties, Nine Star defeated CFC B 2-1, Sindhu FC defeated Budhasubba FC 2-1, Perto defeated Dhanusha 3-0, UYFC White defeated Gorkhali FC 2-1 and NYC defeated Nine Star B 1-0.
Nepal Super League side Jhapa FC President Arpan Bikram Khadka was the guest on the day.
The tournament is being held in Barwa al Barah, Sanaiya 52, Qatar.
The winners of the tournament will receive 1801 Riyal in cash, a trophy, medals and certificates while the runners-up will receive 1201 Riyal in cash, a trophy, medals and certificates.
The tournament is being organized by United Youth Club with the aim of betterment of the health of Nepali people currently residing in Qatar during the holiday.
