GoalNepal

Jamoul Francois Anthony, the Friends Club forward who finished the Martyr's Memorial A Division League as the highest goalscorer was announced to be awarded two lakh rupees as the prize money. But he has now left Nepal to head back to his homeland Trinidad & Tobago, he told GoalNepal that he hasn't yet received the awarded amount.

"I haven't received my awards as yet", Jamoul told GoalNepal. "Now as I leave Nepal, I clearly don't know when I would get my awards."

Jamoul finished the A Division League campaign with seven goals as Friends Club finished 12th on 11 points as they escaped relegation to be B Division League.

There's a general tendency of ANFA to delay prize money to the awardees for a long time now. And for Jamoul, there's no assurance that he will receive the money any sooner if he won't be in the country anytime soon.
