News Kaski: Gupteshwor Mahadev Cup Starts In Full Swing

The first Gupteshwor Mahadev Cup organized by Davi’s fall Club, Chhorepatan, Pokhara-17 starts today at the Tibetan Tashiling Camp Ground in Pokhara. The tournament started by handing over the ball to the referee by the Chief Guest Guru Prasad Baral.

In the opening match between KIEC M-12 and Himalayan FC, M-12 beat Himalayan FC 2-1. For M-12 Both goals were scored by Tun Tun Gurung and Khaken Magar scored one for Himalayan FC.

In the second match between Bajhapatan Kamal Pokhari and Royal Mates, Bajhapatan, Kamal Pokhari FC won by walkover and advanced to the next round.

The nine-a-side tournament will award the winners Rs. 1,00,000 and the runners-up will receive Rs. 50,000. The best player, best goalkeeper and the highest scorer will receive a cash prize and a trophy. Tomorrow, five matches will be played as told by the organizers.
