Nepalese community soccer tournament has kicked off at Houston, Texas, USA to celebrate Nepali New Year 2079. The tournament will be played on a knockout basis with 8 teams participating.

In the opening match of the tournament; South Eagle FC defeated Three Star 2–1 while Pearland FC beat Everest Warriors 2–1 in the second match of the day.  Other results of the day are CNS defeating Houston FC 6–0 as Houston Royals see-off Chandra Surya 2–1.

All the winning teams of the first day of the tournament enter the semifinals. South Eagle FC will play Pearland FC while Houston Royals will take on CNS in the semifinals of the tournament. The semifinals and the final of the tournament will be played on April 16, 2022.

The tournament is organized by the Nepalese Association of Houston.
