News Kaski District League Gets Underway

Kaski District League Football has started in Kaski from today. The tournament organized by ANFA is being played at Gaurishankar Playground in Pokhara-25 and will feature 22 teams.

In the opening match of the tournament, defending champions Adarsha Club and Hemja United played a 1-1 draw and earn a point each.

Similarly, in the second match of the day, Indreni Akikrit defeated Fulbari Youth Club 4-2. 

From tomorrow, four matches will be played daily; two in Gaurishankar and two at the alternative ground at the Pokhara Stadium.

General Secretary of Kaski District Football Association Ramesh Karki said that 22 clubs affiliated to the association are participating in the league. According to him, the competition will be conducted on the basis of league cum knockout format.

The winner of the league will qualify for the Chief Minister state-level Cup.
