
Planning Boys Club, Kathmandu has entered the final of the Fifth International Invitational Bharaul Gold Cup.
In the first semi-final on Wednesday, Planning defeated Rara Football Club, Dhankuta 2-0 to move closer to the title. Om Prakash Chaudhary scored the first goal in the ninth minute and Suman Lama scored the second goal in the 81st minute for the Planning Boys.
Dinesh Rajbanshi of Planning Boys was declared Man of the Match. Special guest Krishna Tamang awarded him Rs 5,000 in cash and a trophy.
The second semi-final of the competition will be played between Bindabasini Football Club, Biratnagar and Kalika Sports Club, Chitwan on Thursday.
The winner of the competition organized by New Star Club, Barahkshetra, Sunsari and Barahkshetra Municipality will get 3,00,000 rupees including the title and the runner-up will get 1,50,000 rupees.
