Nepal national football team is arriving back in Kathmandu today. The team is scheduled to land at 7 PM today in Kathmandu via a Nepal Airlines flight.

 

Nepal traveled to Thailand for two friendlies against Thailand National Team and Chonburi FC. Nepal lost both matches with scorelines of 2-0 and 3-1 respectively.

 

The friendlies in Thailand were part of the FIFA International Break and will serve as a warm-up for the third round of AFC Asian Cup qualifiers, which will take place in June. Nepal had previously lost 2-0 to the Thailand national team on March 24.

Nepal is in Group A, along with Jordan, Kuwait, and Indonesia, and Thailand is in Group C, along with Uzbekistan, the Maldives, and Sri Lanka. The teams will be hoping to go into the qualifiers with positive momentum.
