Saino Sporting Club has qualified for the semi-finals of Mills Gold Cup going on in Biratnagar, Morang. They defeated Gaighat FC 6-5 on sudden death to reach the semi-finals.

The regulation time ended 1-1. Sushan Tamang scored for Gaighat in the 17th minute of the match to give them the lead. Bhuwan Basnet equalized for Gaighat in the 72nd minute.

Nishan Limbu, Nisan Limbu, Kailash Basnet, Diwakar Chaudhary, Min Dhimal, Bhuwan Basnet and Dinesh Rai scored their spot kicks in the shootout.

Sushan Tamang, Dil Kumar Tamang, Devraj Chaudhary, Rabi Shankar Chaudhary and Rupak Phuyal scored.

Anjal, Saino GK was named the player of the match and receiving Rs. 5,000.

Defending champions APF Pakali and Golbazar Prativa Club will face each other tomorrow.
