News Clubs Based In Kathmandu Receive Financial Aid From Kathmandu Metro

The Martyrs' Memorial A Division Club of Kathmandu has received financial assistance from Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Five A division clubs received Rs 10 lakhs each from the Kathmandu Metropolitan City on Wednesday.

Machhindra Football Club, Manang Marsyangdi Club, Sankata Club, Himalayan Sherpa Club, and New Road Team have all received donations from the metropolitan. Bidhya Sundar Shakya, Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, and Hari Prabha Khadgi, Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, presented the cheques to the club's officials.

Mayor Shakya also announced that the league champions from the previous three years will receive a cash prize of 5 lakh rupees each.

Aside from that, clubs in the B and C Divisions receive 3 lakhs and 2 lakhs rupees from the mayor, respectively.
