Chyasal Youth Club has been relegated to the B Division League after today's loss against Friends Club in the Martyr's Memorial A Division League at the Dasharath Stadium. Chyasal's 1-2 loss against Friends Club confirmed relegation to the B Division League for Chyasal.

Friends, on the other hand, strengthened their chances of staying in the A Division League.

In a must-win match for the both teams, Jamoul Anthony Francois opened the scoring for Friends Club in the 38th minute of the match. The Trinidadian no. 9 received Nathaniel Garcia's headed pass and beat the keeper Pradip Bhandari to get to the ball and chipped it over the keeper.

Jamoul himself doubled the lead for Friends in the 43rd minute through a spot kick earned by himself when he was fouled by Abhisekh Limbu in the box.

Chyasal's Cameroonian forward Moussa Abagana pulled one goal back from the spot but Chyasal couldn't score more to keep their chances of survival alive.

Jamoul Anthony, who scored a brace, was named the player of the match today.

After this win, Friends Club move to 10 points in the table but stay 12th on the table while increasing their chances of staying in the top division. Their only competitors will be Brigade Boys Club who have seven points with a game in hand. But Brigade Boys' inferior goal difference gives them a very small chance of survival. Chyasal meanwhile, have six points and stay last.
