Ward no. 7 have started the second President Cup Running Shield Inter-ward Football Tournament with a win.

In the tournament opener held in Miklajung Village Municipality, Madhumalla, Morang, Ward no. 7 defeated the runners-up of the previous edition Ward no. 4 1-0 to advance to the next round. 

In their win, Sanjaya Dunuwar scored in the eighth minute which proved to be enough for them. He was also adjudged the player of the match. 

They will now face Ward no. 2 in their quest to reach the final four.

Ward no. 6 and Ward no. 9 will face each other in tomorrow's match in the tournament.
