
The 16th working committee meeting of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) concluded on Thursday. The meeting held at ANFA Complex has also formed the ANFA Election Committee under the coordination of advocate Shri Ram Dawadi.
The meeting chaired by ANFA President Karma TShering Sherpa nominated advocate Ram Chandra Gautam as co-coordinator of the election committee, Damodar Bhattarai as a member and advocates Saraswati Shrestha and Priti Karki as alternate members. However, the nominated members will have to be approved by the next 20th special general meeting of ANFA.
The meeting also decided to form an election appellate committee. Advocate Bishnu Luitel is the coordinator, Advocate Sudha Rijal is the co-convenor, advocate Keshav Mani Aryal is the member and advocate Yagya Bahadur Rana and Rajendra Ingnam are the alternate members.
The nomination and final decision of this committee will have to be approved by the special general assembly of ANFA after completing various procedures. Remember, it has been decided to hold the central election of ANFA on May 29, 2022. Before that, it has been decided to hold the election of district football associations under ANFA.
