Nepal will take on Mauritius in Kathmandu on Saturday in the first match as a part of the two friendlies’ series against the African nation.
And as always, Nepal national team coach Abdullah Almutairi has asked the fans to not blame the players if things don’t go as planned in the friendlies. He took to his Facebook account to say this to the fans.
He posted, "Dear Nepali Fans, we have two matches with the Mauritius national team, and as usual before every match, in case of victory, the praise goes to the players, and in case of loss, the blame is only on me, so our motto is no comparison between the players and no cruelty to the players. Our Nation, Our Anthem, Our Pride."
The first match will kick off at 4:45 PM on January 29 at the Dasharath Stadium.
