Sunil Bal struck a late screamer as Machhindra FC defeated MMC 1-0 to go atop of A Division league standing.

Bal scored the match winning goal in the stoppage time through free kick.

The match was heading towards a draw but late free kick goal poured cold water over MMC fans.

MFC went atop with 14 points from six matches and will qualify for AFC cup if they win next match.
