Himalayan Sherpa Club has entered semifinals of Belbari gold cup football tournament.

Himalayan Sherpa defeated Gaighat FC 3-0 in the quarterfinal match played at Belbari, Morang on Saturday.

Manish Thapa scored the first goal in 19th minute while Sabi Gurung doubled the lead in 55th minute. Bishwas Shrestha extended the lead in 71st minute.

Bhison Gurung became the player of the match.

RaRa FC Dhankuta will play against hosts Dangihat FC on Sunday.

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 5 lakh.
