Jhapa: 2nd Chitra Kumar Rai Memorial Open Knockout Football Championship Kicks Off

2nd Chitra Kumar Rai memorial open knockout football championship got underway at Kechankawal, Jhapa on Saturday.

Hosts Bagan FC defeated Bhadrapur FC 1-0 in the opening match.

Pujan Uparkoti scored the match winner in 15th minute. He became the man of the match.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 60,000.
