Nepal Beats Sri Lanka In A Highly Entertaining Match; Moves Atop

Nepal defeated Sri Lanak 3-2 in a highly entertaining match of SAFF Championship 2021 at National stadium, Male on Monday night.

Suman Lama (31'), Anjan Bista (51') and Ayush Ghalan (86') scored apiece for Nepal.

Two UK based players, Marvin Hamilton ( 57' ) and De Silva ( 90+2' ) scored apiece for Sri Lanka.

Anjan Bista was adjudged the player of the match. Nepal will now play against India on October 10.

Nepal went top of the table after six points from two matches.
