Indian Gautam Kar Appointed ANFA Director Of Referees

Former Indian FIFA Referee, Gautam Kar has been appointed ANFA director of referees.

ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa welcomed Kar at ANFA house on Sunday.

Kar's main responsibility will be training Nepalese referees and the match commissioners.

Kar - who retired from refereering in 1997 - worked as director of referees in India and Bhutan for many years.

ANFA said contract with Kar is for a year.
