Nepal To Host SAFF Championship 2021 !

SAFF has confirmed that Nepal will host SAFF Championship 2021.

The event will be played in October.

ANFA said they have received a formal offer from South Asian Football Federation (SAFF) to host the event.

Nepal will now send formal proposal to SAFF which needs to be endorsed by SAFF executive committee.

Bangladesh was supposed to host the event in September but they failed to host the event due to rise in COVID cases, lack of sponsors and lack of venue.

Nepal had earlier host the event in 1997 and in 2013.

Nepal has never won the title whereas India has been the most successful team winning the title for seventh times.
