Patan high court has issued stay order on recently concluded election of All Nepal referees' association.
Referee assessor Surendra Sikhrakar had filed writ at the court asking stay order on the election.
Sikhrakar, Kiran Giri and Prajesh Amatya moved to court after a member each from Chitwan district football association and Bara district football association received voting rights in the referees' election.
Kiran Giri, who ran for president in Morang but lost the election, said that that he was shocked to see the name of those two officials in the voting list.
"According to directives, district FA member or official is not able to take part in central election. When I saw their names, I was shocked. And we decided to move to the court", said Giri.
When GoalNepal asked Giri why they didn't oppose during election, he answered that ANFA ignored the situation.
