Nepal international defender Biraj Maharjan has retired from international football.

Maharjan played his last match against Bangladesh at Dasharath stadium on Monday.

He played 73rd caps for the nation.

PM KP Sharma Oli honored Maharjan with a customary blazer in the podium.
