Kiran Chemjong's Minerva Punjab FC Loses To Churchill Brothers In I-League
Nepal number one Kiran Chemjong was substituted out in 67th minute in Minerva Punjab FC's 2-1 loss to Churchill Brothers in I-League.
Chemjong was substituted by Rakshit Dagar. The substitution was forceful as Minerva coach had to stick to 7:4 Indian/foreigner players ratio to sub another foreign striker.
Mechac and Vaz scored apiece for Churchill. Aidara scored for Minerva in 57th minute. Bhutanese international, Chencho missed a spot kick in 62nd minute.
Despite the loss, Minerva are still on top with 26 points from 12 matches.
NEROCA are chasing them with 24 points from 13 matches.
Another Nepal international Bimal Gharti Magar is playing for Mohun Bagan against Shillong Lajong on Saturday.
