Ward number eight has entered quarterfinals of Shiva Satashi mayor cup football tournament.

Ward number eight defeated ward number 11 1-0 in pre-quarterfinal match played on Friday.

Suman Limbu scored the match winner and became the man of the match.

According to Furba Tamang, the championship has a winning purse of Nrs 75,000. Runners up team will get Nrs 44,000.

Shiva Satashidham municipality is sponsoring the event.
