Church Boys United, Kathmandu, have entered the final of the 25th Budhasubba Gold Cup International Invitational Knockout Football Tournament here with a one-sided win.

Church Boys defeated the visiting team RTC Football Club, Bhutan by a wide margin of 7-0 in the first semi-final on Wednesday and moved closer to the title.

In the victory of Church Boys, Samir Tamang and Armand Bedum scored hat-tricks. Padam Bhattarai scored another goal. Samir Tamang of Church Boys was named Man of the Match in the match. He received a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and a trophy.

The second semi-final match of the tournament will be played between New Road Team (NRT), Kathmandu and United Kharsang Football Club, India, on Thursday, Magh 24, the organizers informed.

The winner of the tournament, organized by Dharan Football Club, Sunsari, will receive a title and a cash prize of Rs 1 million, while the runner-up will receive a trophy and Rs 500,000, the organizers informed. The final match will be held on Magh 26.
