Jhapa: Pujan Memorial Knockout Championship Kicks Off; Nawa Yuwa Pashupati Club Itahari Beats Gorkha Boys In The Opener

Pujan memorial knockout football championship got underway at Goldhap, Jhapa on Saturday.

Nawa Yuwa Pashupati club Itahari defeated Gorkha Boys Kakarvitta on penalties. Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time.

Kuttidanda Ilam will play against Munal club Chandragadhi on Sunday.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1 lakh.
