Ilam: Hosts Mai Valley FC Beats Gangtok FC To Enter QFs Of Mai Valley Gold Cup

Hosts Mai Valley FC have entered semifinals of Mai Valley gold cup football tournament in Ilam.

Hosts defeated visiting Gangtok FC Sikkim 2-0 in pre-quarterfinals played at Tundikhel on Friday.

Jodan scored both goals for the winners. They will meet Mohameddan FC Kolkata in quarterfinals.

Umesh Lekhi became the man of the match.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 8 lakh. Runners up team will get Nrs 5 lakh.
