Defending champions Red Star FC has entered final of 2nd Phidim city cup football tournament at Ranitar, Pancthar.



Red Star sidelined Red Horse Ilam 5-4 on penalties on Monday to enter final. Both teams played 2-2 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle. 



Nishan Limbu (9’) and Prakash Bhujel (34’) scored apiece for Red Star while Pikesh Loktam (25’) and Kismat Limbu (59’) scored for Red Horse in regulation time. 



Mausan Rai squandered the kick in the battle.



Nisan Limbu became the man of the match.



Red Star will play against hosts Swotantra club in the final match tomorrow.



Swotantra club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 1,11,111.
