Phidim sporting club and Red Star FC have entered semifinals of 2nd Phidim city cup football tournament at Ranitar, Phidim.

In first quarterfinal match of the day, Phidim sporting club sidelined Miteri Club, Aatharai Terathum 3-0.

Jeeban Bhandari scored a brace (9', 43') while Sukraj Rai scored another (47') for the winners.

Two goal hero Bhandari became the man of the match.

In another quarterfinal match, defending champs Red Star FC sidelined The Young Boys Ilam 3-1.

Ganesh Hemrun (2'), Pujan Rai (4') and Saroj Karki (48') scored apiece for the winners.

Govinda Magar scored one (5') for Yung Boys.

Hosts Swotantra club will play against Phidim sporting club in first semifinal match on Sunday.
