Qatar Airways Martyr's memorial A Division league got underway on Saturday at ANFA complex, Satdobato, Lalitpur.

High spending Machhindra Club defeated Brigade Boys Club 2-0 in the opening match.


Former Jhapa XI midfielder, Yogesh Gurung scored the opener for White Lions in 29th minute of the match.


Former MMC striker, Deepak Rai doubled the tally in 50th minute.

Man of the match:

Bishal Rai, former MMC midfielder, became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

The winners, White Lions received Nrs 50,000 as a winning match money. ANFA provides Nrs 50,000 to the winners. 15,000 each will be divided if the match is drawn.
