Jhapa: Birtamod United Enters SFs Of Knockout Football Championship

Birtamod United has entered semifinals of Jhapa district wide knockout football championship at Kaptanbari, Jhapa.

Birtamod defeated hosts Kaptanbari yuwa club 8-1 on Saturday.

Aashish Chapagain scored five goals alone while Naren Limbu scored a brace. Samir Gurung scored another for the winners. Sanjog Danuwar scored one for the losing side.

Five goal hero Chapagain became the man of the match.

Red Star FC will play against Manaslu FC in today's match.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 30,000.
