Nepal government has decided to inaugurate visit Nepal 2020 at Dasharath stadium.

According to minister Yogesh Bhattarai, president Bidhya Devi Bhandari will inaugurate the campaign on January 1, 2020 at newly renovated stadium.

Earlier the campaign was supposed to be inaugurated at Tundikhel. Musical program will also be organized at the venue.

Nepal is hosting SA Games from December 1-10, 2019 at the complex.

Many debate that the stadium shouldn't be used for non sporting events.

But when country is celebrating such mega campaign, it could be right decision from government to host the program at sporting facilities to accommodate larger audience in proper manner.
