Nepal defender Ajit Bhandari is out from the field for weeks.

Bhandari sustained ankle injury in the match against Kuwait in FIFA World Cup round 2 Asian qualifiers on Friday morning.

Bhandari has his ankle plastered, which will be braced for weeks.

Nepal suffered a humiliating 7-0 loss at the hands of Kuwait. They will take on Chinese Taipei on September 10.
