Indonesia Liga 1 side, Persija Jakarta has been convinced to release Nepal international Rohit Chand for Malaysia friendly match.

Earlier it was confirmed that they wouldn't release him for June 2 match as it doesn't fall on FIFA calender.

"Rohit will join national team on 1st June direct from Bali. Persija is playing their match against Bali United on 31st May", Chand's brother Rabindra Chand told GoalNepal Thursday evening.

Nepal is playing against Malaysia at Bukit Jalil stadium on June 2.

Chand will also be with the team for Chinese Taipei friendly, which is scheduled on June 6.
