Ideal and Ace Institute won their respective matches in the on-going 1st Malpi Cup Inter college Tournament at Nepal Army phycial centre, Lagankhel on Tuesday.
Amit Tamang(45') and Suraj Thakuri(52') scored goal each for Ideal to defeat CCRC 2-0 in the first match of the day.
In another match of the day, Neerav Khadka(46') scored the match winner for Ace Institute to beat Orient College 1-0.
In other matches, Insight Vision registered 2-1 win over White House. Tirtha Magar(17') and Shree Krishna Shrestha(44') scored goal each for Insight Vision while Sushil Bhattarai(2') scored a consolation goal for the losing side.
Budhanilkantha Scool played 1-1 draw with Campion Academy. Rohan Adhikari put Budhanilkantha ahead in the 33rd minute but Prabesh Thapa scored an equalizer in the 57th minute.
Malpi college is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of one lakh rupees.
