3rd Rajarshi Janak Cup: Friends Club Enters QFs

Friends Club has entered quarterfinals of 3rd Rajarshi Janak cup football tournament at Bagmati, Sarlahi.

Friends toiled hard to beat Birgunj United 3-1 on penalties at Santosh Shrestha memorial grounds on Friday.

Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time.

Sabir Chaudhary from Birgunj became the man of the match and received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Friends will play against Bagmati yuwa club in quarterfinals.

On Saturday, Jhapa XI will play against Lali Rupandehi XI in quarterfinal match.

Bagmati yuwa club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 10 lakh.
