Panchthar: Bijaya Youth Hetauda Enters SFs Of 3rd Panchthar Gold Cup

Bijaya Youth, Hetauda defeated Jawalakhel youth club 5-4 on penalties on Wednesday to enter semifinals of 3rd Panchthar gold cup football tournament.

Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time before going to spot kick battle.

Fofona Fode, Bishal Tamang, Anuj Singh and Gautam Shrestha scored for JYC while skipper Ajay Thapa wasted his kick in the battle. Tempe Ernest, Hamid, Christian, Saroj Dahal and Roshan Dong converted their kicks for Bijaya youth.

Goalie Anish Deuja became the man of the match.

Himalayan Sherpa club will play against New Star Sunsari on Thursday.

Pancthar FC is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 4 lakh.
