Partnership between All Nepal Football Association & All India Football Federation could bear fruit to Nepalese football players.
How ?
It is learned that ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa and AIFF President Praful Patel have principally agreed to send Nepalese football players to India for trials with prominent Indian teams.
ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa didn't want to elaborate more but said that the partnership could help number of Nepalese players.
"We want Nepalese players to go abroad. Play professional football. We want other players to follow Rohit Chand and Kiran Chemjong. This will help us to build solid national team", said president Sherpa.
Both FAs' president discussed about this partnership when they met in Kuala Lumpur last week.
Nepal has already implemented 3+1 (South Asia) quota in league.
Sherpa has asked all other south asian countries to implement the same so that players can get opportunities to play abroad and learn more.
